Back from the big OH

Our trip to Ohio was fun!
I hate the day after vacation though...
I am SO lazy today. I have laundry to do, a house to clean, and groceries to hunt down and buy. I should probably find a few minutes to take a shower as well seeing as the ladies from our Young Married's group are headed over this evening... oh life.

We got to visit his family and friends =)It may be the last time in a long time depending on upcoming deployments and our next duty station, so we made the best of it!

Wright-Patterson AFB
Hanging out with friends

Newport Aquarium

It's nice to be home, in our own house, sleeping in our comfy bed, and not going out to eat for almost EVERY meal... the guinea pigs are happy too. They have their playpen back no more being stuck in their "bedrooms" (cages).

I hope you all had an amazing week... I better get started on my list of things from above...

  1. Looks like you all had a great time! I would love to go to the AF museum! Oh and that shark is way scary!

  2. I hate the day after vacation too. Sometimes I need a vacation from my vacation. Good luck on that to do list.

  3. I love the Newport Aquarium. It is only about 1 1/2 hours from me!

  4. You look like you has a blast! Add that to the adventure list. I like the design of the Air Force Museum building.

  5. All my family lives right by Wright Patterson AFB. How fun! I gotta get back there to visit them too before we move from coast to coast. Loved the pics!

  6. Hi! I am an Army wife and just ran across your blog... and I actually have a guinea pig question haha. I just got my son a piggy, Giggy the Piggy (who LOVES him but runs away from me, oh well). But with a leave coming up I am wondering what to do with it for August 5th till the 14th. Can I leave it in a cage stocked up with food for that time?! I grew up with horses and dogs, not caged animals haha

The food dish I have is actually a huge dispenser that releases a little food at a time, so it would last a week... and I could put extra water bottles and hay I suppose. Just not sure... what do you do with yours?!

  7. that picture of the jellyfish is AWESOME!

Looks like you had an awesome time at home!

  8. I wish it was "home" for me, I am VERY glad we got to go visit his family and friends... I can't wait to get a chance to visit mine... however they are not within driving distance and we can't fork out $400-500/ea for cross country plane tickets at the moment =/

I love hearing from you all! =)
