Today we have an extra special treat... TWO items at once!

The FIRST item up for grabs is a 12 Oz. Amish Friendship Bread Candle from The Candle Shop.  Our most popular blend this season scented in a blend of french vanilla, clove and cinnamon on a warm creamy background. Sounds delicious!

The SECOND item up for grabs is a 100% PIMA Cotton, American Pride T-Shirt (S, M, L, or XL) in Pink or Chocolate. I personally own a USMC shirt in this same style- it's so comfortable!

Tay would also like for you to note that: The Candle Shop at Our Military Home is a proud vendor of All Fired Up Candles, a company created by military spouses. These candles are made with 100% natural soot free soy wax. They burn clean with no soot or carbon build-up and last 30% longer than their Paraffin candle counter-parts and each candle is hand poured by military spouses in the USA. The Candle Shop and the Lovely Lady Shop offer $5 flat rate shipping to anywhere in the U.S. This means that shipping will always be only $5 per transaction no matter how many candles, clothing, and handbags are in your cart!

CREDO Marriage Enrichment Retreat

I'm SO excited for this weekend... hubby and I got a call last week saying as long as we could fill in the paperwork by this past Monday we could attend the marriage retreat due to a cancellation. I feel bad that someone cancelled, but this is coming at such a perfect time... with my anxiety issues, the crazy training hours he's been working, upcoming time in the field, and ultimately the looming deployment.

I need this.
We need this.

The best part is... because it's military sponsored and funded my husband gets a half day on Friday so we can arrive there on time for the opening registration and dinner. I miss hanging out with him... he's had the craziest hours, so even though he's here... he's really not. I see his muddy boots, clean his uniforms, and make sure there is food in the pantry/fridge so he can eat when he needs too. But seeing his face hasn't really been happening unless I glance over and his head happens to be on the pillow next to mine. Take Tuesday for example, he woke up at 3:45am, started work at 4:30am and didn't get home until 1:15am (Wednesday), then turned around and was right back at work on Wednesday at 6:30am.

*If your husband is in the Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard be sure to check out your MWR/MCCS for information on CREDO... all  retreats are free, there are marriage and personal enrichment classes depending on the month and availability. This is not a sponsored post, I am just excited we get to attend.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have everything set-up for my 25th Birthday Giveaway Palooza. Please check in on Sunday for the overview of the entire giveaway week. I'll have to talk about the retreat the following week because the giveaway is going to completely take over the blog... I really hope you'll visit everyday to see the great prizes you can win!
Pops of Color
I am not a morning person... I tend to stumble out of bed, use the potty, wash my face, slowly make the bed, and "trudge" down the stairs to head for the kitchen. Sunny days help my mornings infinitely... because the first thing I see when I walk into the kitchen is my "bottle window:"
I love bright pops of color, honestly if my husband would allow it... these colors would be all over the house! The "inspire" rock was given to my by the ladies of my Bible study, evidently I inspire them to follow their dreams (how cool is that?!), the cross was a gift from my mom.
This little windowsill makes me smile.
What place(s) in your house "inspire" you?
Bring a smile to your face?
Make you happy?
