I'll have some news regarding our orders for you soon, let me say our current location is sending 16 marines all over the place at a very fast pace. I asked hubs what was going on and he said at the moment all the spaces being filled are fulfilling the Marine Corps greatest need. Some people are shocked, others plans are being ruined, some have unaccompanied orders, and most of the guys were suppose to deploy rather than PCS (hubs included). So Marine Corps... it really is a love/hate relationship.
Anyway... this is suppose to be a PICK-ME-UP! So... last week in the middle of the craziness, hubs celebrated his birthday. I wanted to see him smile rather than just worry about orders & his marines... so, while he was in the shower, I set this up for him to see on his way out to work...
Ladies- I am NOT a morning person. Needless to say, he came back upstairs, just as I was getting all cozy again to catch a couple more hours of sleep, and told me how sweet it was.
What kind of surprises have you done for your man lately? =)
Danny's birthday is next week...I'm planning to surprise him with crab legs and prime rib...and finally making him a key lime pie!
ReplyDeleteThat would make anyone smile in the morning! How sweet! Can't wait to hear where you're headed
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so sweet! I just packed up a cookie care package for my husband - the first one of the deployment. I just hope I can keep it a surprise!
ReplyDeleteThat was sweet of you! Lets see...the last thing that I surprised him with...hmmm...cleaning the hosue without being told?
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so sweet!!! I sent my man a box (he's deployed) with 120 reasons why I love him. I thought for sure he would read them all right away - but he saves them and reads them one each day - I think it's super cute!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!! I definitely not a morning person either. The other day, while I was on my lunch break for class, I bought him this pen made out of computer parts. Also, during work, I bought him a bag of Honey Roasted Peanuts. Just little somethings to let him now that I was thinking of him.
ReplyDeletei wouldnt call it a "surprise" really... but i get up every morning at 5 along with the soldier and make him his lunch for that day, and send him out the door and lock it behind me (then i climb right back in bed and sleep till the little boy wakes me up!!!)
