How do you feel when your hubby/fiance/boyfriend starts "gearing up?"
It's quite the range of emotions, right?
First I get all anxious...
Helmet, Kevlar, etc.
But then I kinda want to play dress up...
Gas mask, vest, etc.
I guess that's how I "help" lighten my mood.

I've experienced this once, and went through exactly what you did...annoyance, the excitement of dressing up and then anxiousness. And that was just for a field mission. Interesting...
ReplyDeleteI'm gearing up to go through this right now & it's not fun. But the dressing up part definitely makes the whole packing situation a better :)

ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate gearing up. It sucks but at least playing dress up is fun and takes some of the stress away. I know you can do it and you have got all of us here to help you :)
