Memorial Day Weekend

Sometime in the midst of your shopping, bbqs, picnics, beach time, park visits, bike rides, and/or whatever else you have planned for this weekend... take a few minutes to read this letter.

I posted it last year,
I may refer to it every memorial day from now it,
it's that powerful.

  1. Thanks for posting that - I hadn't seen it. Powerful indeed.

  2. Hello dear :) I am your blog partner for the swap done by army boots and flip flops. Could you send me an email at so I can learn more about you, have your address, and get to shopping for things you'll love?

    Thanks! Jenn

  3. Hi! I'm a new follower! Can't wait to get to know you! :)

  4. A widow spoke today about Memorial Day, and she had a very different view and opinion about "happy". She expressed that she wished that we would go out and fill the day with joy and happiness, because that was the reason her husband had died... so that we could live in a free and beautiful happy place. Of course we need to stop and remember those who have fallen, and our hearts should be filled with gratitude for their sacrifice... but we should also be happy that we are free because of their sacrifice.

  5. So amazing. Thanks for posting this.

I love hearing from you all! =)
